Who this notice covers
This notice applies to the United Labor Solutions (ULS) website, public forms, job-seeker accounts, employer access requests, and related account services. ULS is a U.S. staffing agency for travel assignments. The public site is not a general job board, candidate directory, payroll service, or document drop.
For privacy questions, use the privacy request form or call 657-395-1625. Do not put passwords, Social Security numbers, bank details, medical information, or identity documents in a general contact or staffing form.
Information ULS receives
Depending on the page or service you use, ULS may receive information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, city and state, work history, trade skills or credentials, job preferences, application answers, messages, and privacy-request details. Employer representatives may provide business contact information, company details, project or worksite information, and staffing requirements. Available fields vary by page.
The website also creates account, authorization, and security records such as role and access status, sign-in events, session identifiers, timestamps, and limited technical or anti-abuse signals. Public forms use security checks and a first-party form-session cookie. ULS does not ask for precise location through these forms.
The current site does not provide a secure general upload for identity, banking, health, or employment-eligibility documents. If a future onboarding process needs sensitive records, ULS must first provide a separately identified protected workflow.
How ULS uses information
- To review staffing requests, administer accounts, receive applications, and coordinate ULS-managed travel assignments.
- If a job seeker separately opts in, to let authorized ULS recruiting staff search a minimized work-preference profile. Employers cannot search that internal directory, and the opt-in does not include names, contact details, applications, resumes, messages, documents, or compensation.
- To share a candidate application with the relevant employer only when ULS intentionally releases that candidate for the specific opportunity.
- To answer inquiries and privacy requests, protect accounts, prevent spam or misuse, maintain audit records, and meet legal or contractual obligations.
- To operate and maintain the website and improve its reliability and accessibility.
ULS does not use applicant information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not sell personal information. ULS does not give employers an unrestricted candidate directory. A staffing request or application is not itself an offer, placement, or employment decision.
Optional marketing email
When creating an account, you may separately choose to receive optional United Labor Solutions news and marketing by email. This choice is off unless you select it, is not required to create an account or submit an application, and is separate from required account, application, security, and service communications. You can change or withdraw this choice later in account communication settings. Job-alert and workspace-summary emails have separate choices.
When information is shared
ULS may make information available to authorized ULS personnel who need it to perform staffing, account, support, security, or compliance work. A relevant employer may receive only the candidate information ULS intentionally releases for the specific staffing opportunity. Employers must use released information only for that staffing purpose and protect it from unauthorized access or onward disclosure.
ULS uses service providers for website delivery, security checks, and data hosting. The current QA application uses a separate PostgreSQL database hosted by Railway and connected through Cloudflare Hyperdrive. The public production website is served by the ULS Worker. Production database identity and read-only access were verified by a strict-TLS connection on October 26, 2026. That verification does not prove the active Worker's database path or other production data flows, which remain unverified. When an account password is created, changed, or reset, the password-checking service sends the first five characters of a SHA-1 hash to Have I Been Pwned's Pwned Passwords range service and checks the returned matching data on the ULS server. The original password and complete hash are not sent. See Have I Been Pwned's privacy notice and Pwned Passwords API details. Production sender configuration was verified in the active Worker configuration, including a verified sender. One existing staffing-request notice was provider-confirmed delivered, and a matching message was found in the authorized ULS inbox. Account and privacy-request email routing and provider-confirmed delivery for those routes remain unverified.
ULS may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect people or systems, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. ULS does not disclose personal information to data brokers or advertising networks for targeted advertising.
Cookies and security
ULS uses essential authentication and login-protection cookies. Public forms may use a first-party security cookie that expires after one day. The current application has no optional analytics or advertising cookie categories and does not show an optional-cookie consent banner. Read the cookie information.
ULS applies account, role, and access safeguards, including active-session and authorization checks for protected actions. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the account security controls available to you and report a suspected account issue through 657-395-1625.
How long information is kept
ULS keeps information while it is needed for the staffing, account, security, or request purpose for which it was collected and for applicable recordkeeping duties. Applicable law, legal process, or a claim may require a longer period. The current site does not yet run one automatic deletion schedule across all account, staffing, intake, and audit records, and does not provide a centralized legal-hold control, so ULS does not promise a single deletion date for every record.
For contact and staffing cases, ULS sets a review target 365 days after closure. A confirmed spam block has a 90-day review target from the block decision. Received and quarantined cases have no review target; releasing or reopening a case clears its prior target. The 365-day and 90-day values are review targets, not deletion deadlines, and do not guarantee deletion on those dates. A 15-minute Worker cron schedule is configured in the active production Worker, but its use for contact and staffing redaction and any successful production redaction runs are unverified. Automatic removal for those cases is not confirmed. A security, legal, dispute, or operational hold, or a recordkeeping duty, may require longer retention. Historical cases without a stored review target are not automatically removed.
- Where the federal age-discrimination record rule applies to ULS as an employment agency, covered applications, resumes, job orders, referrals, placements, and related notices are kept for at least one year from the related action. Records relevant to an enforcement action are retained through final disposition.
- If ULS holds employment-tax records in its role as an employer, those records are kept for at least four years after the relevant fourth-quarter employment-tax return is filed. Another applicable legal requirement may require a longer period.
- Account, profile, employer-access, staffing, contact, support, privacy-request, and security records have no single automatic expiry in the current application. A closure or deletion request does not itself erase them. Any manual review must consider active work, other users' rights, recordkeeping duties, and applicable legal requirements.
Database backups and disaster-recovery copies can contain information from active records. The website does not currently expose a per-person backup-erasure control or a verified backup-expiration date, so a removal from an active record would not establish that every backup copy has expired.
Your privacy requests
Depending on where you live and which privacy law applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data, and to opt out of certain uses. The privacy request form saves a request and provides a same-browser receipt. The site queues a contact-confirmation link; confirming it verifies access to that email address only. Identity and authority review, emailed status links, and record fulfillment are not operational yet. Submitting or confirming a request does not reveal whether an account exists or change or delete a record. For help with a request, call 657-395-1625. Before ULS discloses or changes records, identity and authority must be verified and applicable retention duties reviewed.
ULS does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Requests are handled under applicable law and may be limited where the law permits retention for staffing records, security, legal duties, or claims. Exercising a privacy right does not result in unlawful discrimination.
Changes and contact
ULS identifies material changes by updating the version and effective date above. New account registrations record acceptance of the version displayed at signup; the website does not currently prompt existing accounts to reaccept a revised notice. For privacy help, call 657-395-1625 or use the privacy request form.
