Cookie information
How essential cookies and form security work in the ULS application.
Essential cookies
ULS session cookies support sign-in and maintain the active account session. Email verification may use the first-party uls-verification-destination cookie to display a masked email when requesting another verification link; it expires after one day. Public forms may use the first-party uls_public_session cookie to bind a submission to its security checks; it also expires after one day. The browser support check briefly sets a random first-party uls_cookie_probe_* cookie to check whether cookies are available, then expires it.
Functional preference
When you expand or collapse the desktop navigation sidebar, the first-party sidebar_state cookie remembers that choice for seven days.
Analytics and advertising
ULS does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. The application does not offer analytics or advertising consent choices or show a banner for those categories. You can review or clear site data in your browser settings; clearing essential or functional cookies may sign you out, interrupt a form submission, or reset the sidebar preference.
Cookie settings
Essential cookies stay on so sign-in and forms keep working. Open cookie settings to review the functional sidebar preference; ULS does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
